The principal charities of this Appeal are Scope and Mencap, whilst The Royal Ballet School, the City & Guilds of London Art School, and The Royal Academy of Arts also benefit.
Every penny raised from the sale of all the wines will go to the Appeal: cases have been offered by kind donors, and the sale and logistics is being handled by Liv-ex at no cost.
Scope exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.
Mencap works in partnership with people with a learning disability, and all their services support people to live life as they choose.
The City & Guilds of London Art School is a long-established, not-for-profit institution offering an important, specialist alternative to other models of art and craft higher education in the UK.
The Royal Ballet School is one of the world’s greatest centres of classical ballet training which for generations has produced dancers and choreographers of international renown, including Margot Fonteyn, Anya Linden, Kenneth MacMillan, Lynn Seymour, David Wall, Antoinette Sibley, Anthony Dowell, Marguerite Porter, Stephen Jefferies, Darcey Bussell and Jonathan Cope.
The Royal Academy of Arts is an artist-led academy. It has much in common with museums and other galleries, but we have a broader role – to promote not just the appreciation and understanding of art, but also its practice.
